The 2nd Worldwide Simultaneous Heiwa Matsuri Has Come to a Close!

The 2nd Worldwide Simultaneous Heiwa Matsuri was held safely on September 18 👏

Even as typhoon season approached in Japan, with rain in many regions,
we are truly grateful to everyone who took part in the real-life events 😌
Thank you also to everyone who watched on the YouTube live stream!
And above all, our heartfelt thanks to the branch leaders who held events despite difficult conditions, to the streaming participants, and to the organizers!

This year again, we were able to connect the world and share a moment of feeling “peace” ✨

The relay broadcast ran from 9am to 12:30am, and we were able to bring you a full, continuous stream!

We opened with meditation to the sound of Maui music,
starting from “creating a peaceful world within yourself.”
Some people told us they were moved to tears that very morning!
From the afternoon, we moved to broadcasts from each region.
We could see everyone enjoying wearing kimono in each area 👘
Photo sessions were also held in each location, and we imagine many wonderful photos were taken —

and let us see plenty of your lovely photos 😊

At night, the broadcast centered on locations overseas.
We were able to see the beautiful scenery of Europe,
and learn about the national character, culture, and approach to peace in each region!

And finally, a live talk with brothers from Bali ✨
We were reminded once again that the world can turn dangerous in an instant,
and we were taught to think about “what can I do to support others”
and that offering support truly matters 😌
These are anxious times in many ways, but we feel we were able to learn something about
“the strength to survive” from our brothers in Bali 😊
